چکیده

With the development of design technology, more and advanced diverse wind tunnels have been constructed to match complex requirements. However, it is hard a precise physical model tunnel that can be controlled. In addition, if new designed, experimental data may insufficient build controlling model. This article reports research on following two models: (1) for 0.6 m continuous transonic supported by large amount historical data, false nearest neighbor (FNN) algorithm was adopted calculate order input variables, nonlinear auto-regressive with exogenous inputs–backpropagation network (NARX-BP) proposed its Mach number prediction model; (2) 2.4 only small method migration, output slope/bias correction–particle swarm optimization (IOSBC-PSO) algorithm, developed convert old into tunnel, so could conducted. Through simulation experiments, found introducing NARX-BP model, root-mean-square error (RMSE) decreased 44.93–77.90%, maximum deviation (MD) 64.05–85.32% compared BP The performance IOSBC-PSO migration also better than non-migration as evidenced 82.06% decrease RMSE value 78.25% MD value. experiments showed effectiveness strategy.

The covering number of M 24

A finite cover C of a group G is a finite collection of proper subgroups of G such that G is equal to the union of all of the members of C. Such a cover is called minimal if it has the smallest cardinality among all finite covers of G. The covering number of G, denoted by σ(G), is the number of subgroups in a minimal cover of G. In this paper the covering number of the Mathieu group M24 is show...

The Use of Heavy Gas for Increased Reynolds Numbers in Transonic Wind Tunnels

The use of a high molecular weight test gas to increase the Reynolds number range of transonic wind tunnels is explored. Modifications to a small transonic wind tunnel are described and the real gas properties of the example heavy gas (sulfur hexafluoride) are discussed. Sulfur hexafluoride is shown to increase the test Reynolds number by a factor of more than 2 over air at the same Mach number...

M m m Queue with Balking, Reneging and Additional Servers

In this paper, we consider a multi-server queuing system in which additional servers are allowed for a longer queue to reduce the customer’s balking and reneging behavior. The customers are assumed to arrive in Poisson fashion and their service- times follow exponential distribution. The number of servers in long run depends on the queue-length. We obtain equilibrium queue size distribution. Th...

Boundary Layer Transition on Slender Cones in Conventional and Low Disturbance Mach 6 Wind Tunnels

An experimental investigation was conducted on a 5-degree half-angle cone and a 5-degree half-angle flared cone in a conventional Mach 6 wind tunnel to examine the effects of facility noise on boundary layer transition. The influence of tunnel noise was inferred by comparing transition onset locations determined from the present test to that previously obtained in a Mach 6 low disturbance quiet...

ABS-Type Methods for Solving $m$ Linear Equations in $frac{m}{k}$ Steps for $k=1,2,cdots,m$

‎The ABS methods‎, ‎introduced by Abaffy‎, ‎Broyden and Spedicato‎, ‎are‎‎direct iteration methods for solving a linear system where the‎‎$i$-th iteration satisfies the first $i$ equations‎, ‎therefore a‎ ‎system of $m$ equations is solved in at most $m$ steps‎. ‎In this‎‎paper‎, ‎we introduce a class of ABS-type methods for solving a full row‎‎rank linear equations‎, ‎w...
